		<description>TapIt has originally partnered with hundreds of cafes in New York City to help on-the-go urbanites find places to refill their water bottle for free. This clever network has now grown to reach hundreds of cities in over 24 states.

These spots can be located visually (all partners display a TapIt sticker on their window), online, or with their handy iPhone app. And, if you're a cafe or a store in the area deserved by the network and want to help with this intiative, you can become a partner today!

The TapIt website, designed by Tom Klinkowstein and Christie Shin of Media A, won a Communicator Award of Excellence in the Green Eco-Friendly category.

		<description>Tal Soltz and Kate Cutler joined efforts to design this new lovely earth friendly glass bottle line.

We tried it and we loved it!

This classic bottle design lined with an attractive silicone protector is a good option when you want to keep your beverages in a clean healthy glass container and still be able to move around without the fear of breaking it.

Tal and Kate are friends who share the belief that beauty can inspire real change. They created bkr with a recognition that good design does not need to be absent from safe, green and clean products. They drew on their love of modern art and minimalism to create a bottle that you'll want to carry. bkr is a statement against a disposable world, against transporting water between continents, and against the chemicals we ingest when we base our decisions on convenience.

All the environmentally conscious souls ponder about the wastage of water, and looking at the present scenario regarding the availability of water, coming generations are sure to face its severe scarcity. Adopting an eco-friendly approach is the only solution for curbing such an effect. The “Phyto-Purification Bathroom” designed by Jun Yasumoto uses a natural filtering principle, called phyto-purification, for recycling waste water. Serving as a mini eco-system, it filters and recycles the water from the shower and the washbasin for re-use.

&#60;img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/10082/186755/phyto-purification-bathroom_03_HonrT_25013.jpg" border="0" width="550" height="518" width_o="550" height_o="518" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/0/10082/186755/phyto-purification-bathroom_03_HonrT_25013_o.jpg" align="left" /&#62;

This unique bathroom allows you to shower underneath the nature, surrounded by lemnas and water hyacinths with reeds and rushes planted next to each other, to filter larger particles and heavy metals from the water. The filtering process is further activated by the carbon filter that stops the remaining micro particles, thus giving you fresh water, which can further be used for several purposes. Adding an element of eco-friendliness to your relaxing shower, the Phyto-Purification Bathroom is a boon/blessing in disguise for the coming generation.

The scarcity of drinking water is one of the major quandaries of human life that has caused alarm all across the world. However, addressing the issue, Argentine designer Leonardo Manavella has come up with an innovative device concept that will solve the drinking water problem, to some extent, in the drought-affected or unclean-water areas. Hailed as “Agua H2O,” the emergency device that (I’m sure, you won’t believe) converts urine, human or animal, into drinkable water. All the users have to do is pee on the “Activated Carbon” in the device, where urine loses its color and flavor, and remove the container for fresh and clean water. Simply amazing!
